I acknowledge that I am on Amiskwacîwâskahikan ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ , Treaty 6 territory which covers Western Alberta, Saskatchewan and into Manitoba. I understand my privilege as a white settler and use that privilege to support communities in decolonizing tattooing. These efforts include tattooing all skin types, identities, and bodies. I refuse to benefit from the monetizing of indigenous culture and identity. I take it seriously as a white person on stolen lands to pay out to these communities when I can in the form of donations, tattoo fundraisers and using my platform to amplify indigenous voices.
